Butt Lift with Implants
When performing a butt lift with implants, Dr. Horn may begin with liposuction to provide further sculpting effects. The incision for implants is typically placed in the gluteal crease, the cleft between the buttocks. If combined with a body lift, the incision will typically be along the top of the buttocks. Dr. Horn may also inject fat at the same time as he places the implants for optimal results.
Recovering from the Procedure
Following surgery, you will need to avoid sitting directly on your buttocks for at least ten days. This keeps injected fat from integrating with the existing tissue and can prevent your implants from shifting. You will also wear a compression garment for the first few weeks to help in recovery. Dr. Horn will provide you with detailed instructions on how to achieve the quickest and most successful recovery.
Most patients will require about one to three weeks off from work after their procedure. It may take up to a couple of months until you can return to full physical activity and your regular exercise regimen. You may see results immediately after surgery; however, it can take six months up to a year to see your full results.
