Rhinoplasty Healing Process
After rhinoplasty surgery, you must rest in bed and ensure your head is raised higher than your chest. This helps to reduce swelling and bleeding that is common post surgery. In most cases, the dressings inside and splits outside of your nose remain in place for one to seven days after surgery for protection and support. Bleeding and mucus drainage is common for a few days.

Try to avoid clothing that pulls over your head and take baths instead of showers while the dressings are still on your nose.
